macOS 10.15 Catalina

The display on my HP 2600 has all of the icons flashing and showing "EE".  I have tried the restart options, disconnecting power, etc.  I have also restarted the router etc inc are it was a connection error.  I have also tried the various combinations of holding the buttons suggested on other posts but to no avail. I have checked and replaced the cartridges just in case and they are also original/compatible.  It appears to be a hardware issue. Any help appreciated!

Hi,

Thanks but that has not solved the problem.  I have also tried to contact HP support but it is saying that my warranty expired a couple of months ago?  Any other way to hard reset the printer to get it going again?

I should add that I am paying a standard monthly fee for ink that I can't use now.  Any ideas?

You can definitely log in to your Instant Ink account and cancel it.

Hi, thanks but you replied with a link to a Pavillion laptop? 

Definitely sounds like a bit of a swizz that there is a known hardware issue with these printers and HP aren't acknowledging it.
