Product: HP Desk Jet plus 4155
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

A couple of small problems. First It says it is printing and shoots out blank paper.  ALso it wants authentication every time I want to print. I have never had a password, in fact I have just had the printer for about a week. Willing to follow directions to try and get this to work.

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Are you able to make photocopies on the printer?
  • Could you share the screenshot of the password pop up?
