Product: Deskjet 9800
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Deskjet 9800 and  the printer does not want to turn off when I push the power button.

This just began to happen after I disconnected the printer to transfer it to another location and then connected the power again.  The power light turns on when I connect it to the electricity but when pushed it won't turn off.

Please advise how to turn it off using the power button

This looks like a hardware issue with the power button. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer if it is under warranty.
