HP Laserjet Pro MFP M282nw

Dear,

Each time I launch my printer I see on the display that the USB tool is not recognized.

There is nothing in the USB port connected so strange.

There is also a there is also an exclamation mark on the display. I already did all kind of resets including NVRAM but nothing helps.

I also don't have the wireless connexion anymore so quite strange.

I can still print but the fact that the exclamation mark is always popping and staying on the screen is annoying.

can somebody help please thanks!

@Trybou

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Could you share the screen where it's displaying USB error?
  • What is the operating system?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Dear

Please find a printscreen below.

There is no USB attached, I'm just using the printer through an internet cable.

@Trybou

Thank you for posting back.

Let's try this:

So first turn off your computer using the Shut-Down option in Windows or pressing the power button, and then UNPLUG the PC from the wall outlet. Let it sit for several minutes and then plug it back in. As a last resort, you can also try uninstalling all USB devices from your system and then restarting.

Keep me posted!
