So, my printer displayed the error message oxc19a0020. According to my research on the internet this means the printerhead is done for and I need a new printer. Says on the hp support website (https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04839288) that you can get a replacement if:

your printer is one of the models listed above (it is)

it exhibits the error message 'There is a problem with the printerhead' (it does)

and the printer is within two years of the original purchase date (it is as of today 12 July).

Thing is, I tried to fill in the online form and it says my printer's warranty expired a year ago.

Summing up: printer purchased July 27, 2015, warranty expired July 27, 2016, but according to replacement program it's still within the 2 year time frame.

Can't reach hp via email or chat and they want to charge me 20 dollars just for calling them because my printer is out of warranty. Bad customer service experience here with hp.

Anybody else had the same problem? How did you resolve it?

UPDATE: Wow! All I wanted was to talk to HP Customer Service regarding the contradicting information without having to pay. HP contacted me and resolved the issue. They honored the information re 2 years from purchase date and sent me a replacement printer. Within a couple days! Thank you @Riddle_Decipher for reaching out, please say thank you to Jeff and Michael for me!
