Hi I'm having problems printing in black print.  The pages I print are blank.  I have replaced the cartridge  with an HP cartridge.  

I have had the printer clean the print heads.  I also have cleaned the top of the cartridge for any blockage.  

Please if anyone can help me?

@MercedesO, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Make sure the plastic tape if any is removed from the ink cartridge before placing it in the printer.

Check the ink levels to make sure the printer is reading the black ink cartridge.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

Make sure you have tried 2 cycles of leaning the ink cartridges as shown in step 2 of this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

Also, perform step 9.

 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer as you have already replaced the black ink cartridge. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
