Got a number of HP M477fdw pressure rollers from China on Ebay (seems that's the only place sells it.), with every single one, toner comes off the paper if the paper type is set to 'plain'. I have to set the paper type to a 150g paper so the toner will be melted into paper properly.

The weird thing is, there are hundreds of these rollers sold by this seller and everyone seems to be happy, and the seller of course couldn't provide and helpful advice except refund me.

Anybody has any clue?

Much appreciated! $50 to the advice that help me solve this problem!

Really the only thing that could be causing the problem would be that you reassembled the fuser improperly and it is not providing enough contact between the paper and the rollers. If it fuses just fine with an alternate setting I would just work with that myself.
