Paper is loaded properly in the printer, the printer will not pickup the paper.  I can hear the sound of gears jumping.  I have looked inside the paper tray and see the pickup arm drop to the paper and the wheels are not moving.   I get an error message to load paper.  This is a printer that has printed less than a 500 sheets in its life.  It is a home printer that doesn't get very much use.

If the rubber pickup rollers aren't rotating to grab the paper sheet there is nothing you can do. It's time for a new printer.

I guess the newer generation of HP printers are not as good as in past years,  Thanks for your help!
