Printer error:  " There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, and then on. If problem persists, contactHP"

I have tried all that you suggested to previous customers with this issue and nothing worked. Local supposedly HP certified repair outfits do not want to work on printers that are not laser.

Do I have any options? I just invested $140.00 dollars on a new cartridge carrier since the previous error indicated that was the issue but the new hardware did not help get rid of the error message and make the printer functional again. Can I at least get credit from HP for this brand new part that I may not even been able to use?
