OfficeJet 8630 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP OfficeJet 8630 Printer just failed!! 4 years old, but barely used (wouldn’t you know) always cover with a sheet unless being used. Today I got an error message that said Printhead missing or disconnected! Then after turning the machine off and on again it says print head damaged or installed improperly! After removing and replacing the print head and going thru all of the stupid suggestions provided by the automated tech support thing I looked up the price of a new printhead and IF I wanted to purchase a minimum of 2ea. at $142.50 ea. I may be able to repair my printer??? I have tried to TALK TO A REAL PERSON AT HP but I guess that they are all too busy to put a REAL PERSON on the phone. So since I already tried contacting our local (350+miles away) printer repair place (and getting no where) I will start shopping around for a NEW printer!!! Maybe this time a Xerox or Epson somebody that actually values their customers.......... orchardp at charter dot net....
