I have the same issue. My problem started when my cartridges ran out and I replaced it. Now when I go through all the steps you mentioned above, I have a paper jam. There is no paper jam and I check everything. The print cartridge will not move as the gentleman also said which is strange because before it moved so you could atleast change the cartridges. Was something downloaded to cause this issue? I really need to print and scan an this printer seems to be broken, software-wise.

I'm having the same issue. I've been using the regular size black ink cartridges since I've had the computer, 7 months. Yesterday I inserted my first XL black ink cartridge and now I'm getting this error today. Coincidence? I think not. I ordered my ink from Target, no refurbished ink cartridge off amazon.
