I can't fix the error 0x6100004a. Already did common tips found on internet: firmware update, check and clean inks, removed jammed paper, etc.

Any other good idea that may really work?

I understand that you are getting an 0x6100004a error, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

HP 6968, s/n [Personal Information Removed] was jamming paper at one time and I cleared it and it was printing fine but now I get the Subject error code.  Tried everything from checking all areas for residual paper and unplugging and still get error of a paper jam.  Please help.   FPU # T036-64001.  Note:  Cartridge carrier will not move enough to remove the ink cartridges to clean ports either.

I am having this same issue. I get all my ink directly from HP so I know it can't be an ink issue. I don't know what to do.

My Product number is P4C81A
