i inserted a new HP903XL Cyan cartridge into the printer.  It shows up on the screen as full but no ink comes out of it.  I have taken it out and re-inserted the cartridge a couple of times, I have cleaned printhead and there is still nothing coming from the cartridge.

Can anyone help me?  Ink is expensive enough without having to replace a full cartridge with another one, which I would have to hope works better!

Many thanks

Hi @JamesCane

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Check the warranty information on the ink cartridge. If the ink cartridge is in warranty, HP will help you to replace it as it is defective and you have tried the necessary troubleshooting.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options.

Thanks.

As a last resort, I cleaned the printhead for about the fourth time, and lo and behold, the blue ink finally decided to come out of the cartridge, so all is now working.  The moral seems to be, if at first/second/third ... you don't succeed, do it again and again!
