Product: Officejet Pro 7740
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New printer will produce color copies, but will only print in black and white. Second older printer (same make and model) just stopped printing in color, never had a problem before. I've tried everything I know. Please help.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

One printer HP ENVY 5548 installed since 2017 with ACER Aspire One PC  (Windows 7/8 migrated to Windows 10) and second PC HP ENVY Laptop 17 (Windows 10) since 2020. Printer not printing  in color with Laptop only. Thanks for the solution.
