The printer hasn't been operated for a year at lease. With that in mind, I changed the ink cartridge and also perform print tests. The problem is reoccurring. That being that when the document I am printing is outputted it has streaking not as if the ink it streaking it. But like the roller isn't turning or something. The documents are incomplete. (Any wording is unreadable do to the "steaking" incomplete printing. It appears to only be doing the error with printing wording, text, descriptions. It blanks out white. Nothing but a top portion of the text or bottom portion of the text appears, faintly.

Hi @Tahneeapland,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your printer may have some issues with the printhead or the rollers after not being used for a year. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Clean the Printhead: The printhead might be clogged due to dried ink from being unused for a long time. Most printers have a built-in utility for cleaning the printhead. You can usually find this option in the printer settings menu on your computer or directly on the printer's control panel.
- Manual Cleaning: If the built-in cleaning doesn't solve the issue, you can try manually cleaning the printhead. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to do this properly.
- Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Even small pieces of debris can cause printing issues.
- Inspect the Rollers: Check the rollers for any signs of damage or debris. Clean them gently with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol if necessary.
- Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers and firmware installed for your printer. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
- Use Genuine Ink Cartridges: Make sure you're using genuine ink cartridges recommended by HP. Generic or refilled cartridges might not provide optimal performance.
- Perform a Reset: Try performing a reset on your printer to see if that resolves the issue. Instructions for resetting your printer can usually be found in the user manual.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
