Product: OfficeJet Pro 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am trying to replace my current ink cartridge with the 952XL versions, previously the 952. The printer is not accepting the ink and I do see that the ink cartridges were made in 2 different countries. I am located in the US and have only bought ink from Amazon or Costco.

HP 952/952XL must be the same except XL version has more inks inside. HP 8710 printers bought in

 

  •  United States and Canada: use HP 952 and HP 952XL cartridges
  •  Europe, Africa, CIS, and Middle East: use HP 953 and HP 953XL cartridges
  •  Latin America: use HP 953 and HP 953XL cartridges
  •  Asia Pacific and Japan: use HP 953 and HP 953XL cartridges

Now, I don't think this is the case but please try

That is exactly my case, it is not accepting the 952XL as a replacement for the 952 carts.
