Hi @CobraDog,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer stopped printing properly after switching to Windows 11, you're not alone. I am here to help. Let’s walk through the steps to get your printer working again.

Fix: HP ENVY 4500 Not Printing Full Pages or Not Printing at All on Windows 11

1. Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer Driver

Windows 11 may not have installed the correct driver during the upgrade.

2. Run HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

This tool automatically detects and resolves common printing issues.

  • Download the HP app from the Microsoft Store.
  • Open the app and go to Diagnose & Fix.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Check for Ink and Print Quality Issues

If the printer starts but doesn’t print correctly:

  • Clean the printhead via the printer menu or the HP Smart app.
  • Align the cartridges.
  • Print a diagnostic page to check ink flow.

4. Reset the Printer

Sometimes a simple reset helps:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from power for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
