HP Officejet pro 8725
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few months ago, a few days after the latest firmware upgrade (23/11/2020), the following message was shown by the printer:

The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed. 0xc19a0023

Following the instructions in https://support.hp.com/it-it/document/c04242952 after 2 attempts reseating printerhead the error disappeared and the printer was ok. Unfortunately the same error was shown several times in the past few weeks and was solved always on the 2nd attempt. Not today: after 3 attempts I was not able to print anything.

@davidsnow, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in these documents - Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
