OfficeJet Pro 8710

Hello,

 

my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer broke so I had to order a new one. I have of course saved my cartridges from the broken printer. However it seems they can't be used more than once. Is there please any way to bypass this? Cartridges are almost full and would like to avoid having to buy new ones right now.

If your first printer ( now broken) had option turned ON to protect ink cartridges, then those cartridges are useless, they are secured and locked to an old printer, and can't be used. If inserted in another device you will receive a message something like protected ink cartridges can't be used ...
