Thank you. This information sadly does not relate specifically to the HP564 cartridges question I posted. HOWEVER . . . I have now purchased a new printer, passed the 3520 on to the recycle folk at BestBuy and have given all my 564 cartridges to a neighbor who still has a fine and working 3520 printer.  Your list of tips when selecting a new printer were followed and I thank you for taking the time to post.
