CM2320fxi printer does not pickup and feed paper when printing, but if I restart the printer it picks up and feeds the paper during initilizing,
I have had this printer for several years and it has work without fault until this paper issue occured.
I stopped using and removed the printer, borrowed a printer, which I needed to return about a 3 months ago, so I reinstalled the CM2320fxi and the paper feed worked without fault until 3 days ago, now the paper feed issue has returned.
Has anyone else had this issue and could anyone provide a solution.

Based on the age of that machine, either the pickup roller is worn or dirty. Pull the tray out and look at the back of the tray at the D shaped roller. it should have fingerprint like ridges on it's surface. You will only see part of the roller as it faces backwards but the edges will show if it is worn or dirty. if unsure, check Youtube for a video on changing the roller and remove the roller so you can examine it closely. Roller on left is worn, one on right is new.
