The test patterns do not look great, this seems like a cartridge or a printhead issue.
I’d recommend you contact HP Phone Support in your region further for assistance.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!

Hi @pilly2.
I'd like to help!
To better assist you -
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.
-
Open the Reports or Tools menu.
-
Touch Print Quality Report.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello Jay, thank you for responding. I have printed numerous test pages and they all print out fine, as though there is nothing wrong. I have also run the HP scan and print doctor, and it says there are no problems. Since your post I was shown by windows that there were three new update available, which I downloaded and installed. The updates were: 2020-09 cumulative update win.10 V2004 X 64 (KB4571756}, 2020-09 cumulative update Net Framework X 64 (KB 4576478), and Windows malicious software removal tool X 64 - V5.83 (KB 890830). I had the problem with the stripes when printing from Adobe Organizer 2018, and also in a new version Organizer 2020. The problem also occurred when printing from Microsoft Photo. What's interesting is that after the three windows upgrades mentioned above, the stripes went away when printing from Adobe Organizer, but are still there when printing from Microsoft photo! When I print from organizer, there are red/pink splotches on the bottom half of the photo print. The situation is the same if I have plain paper or print with photo paper. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of software for my printer from the HP website.

Hi Jay, I thought it was with my last transmission but it does not show up on your site, however it shows up in your reply to me. I assume we're talking about the "Print Quality Diagnostic Page". Here's another stab at it; I've also included the "Printer Status Report" that came out after my firmware upgrade.
