Which software / application are you using to view and submit the job to the printer?

 

What kind of document?  PDF?  Word?  something from your Web Browser?

 

How are the Page Setup / Page Size / Print Size set ?

For example, 100%, Fit, Multiple pages? 

 

Do you have the Full Feature Software installed?

 

Has printing documents ever worked correctly?

Adobe Reader DC – Needed Whether You Use It or Not

If you have not done so,

Reinstall / Update your PDF Reader (Adobe Reader DC /Optional  Foxit Reader)

HINT:  Watch out for and UNCHECK unwanted extra software

 

NOTE:  Adobe Reader DC software should be installed even if you do not normally open / view / print PDF files directly from the Adobe Reader DC software.

I think I have solved the problem. I will see hoe things go.

After a few reinstalls of HP Smart, using Google Chrome, I decided to install it with Microsoft Edge.

Hopefully this has cured the problem as I have printed a few documents which have all printed correctly. I am hoping that this continues.

Thanks for posting back.

I had finally abandoned Chrome for Chromium Edge several months ago.

 

How Chrome could impact installation of HP Smart (comes from the Microsoft Store) is something I cannot explain.

Regardless, success is welcome by any path that works!
