HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer

My HP Officejet 6830 will print in color but not in black. I've tried just about everything but still not printing in black

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "print quality" issue. 

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

Load plain white paper into the tray.

On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon . The Setup menu displays.

Swipe the display to scroll to Reports, and then touch Reports.

Touch Print Quality Report. The printer prints the report.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
