Product: Samsung Xpress SL-M2830DW Laser Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

  I see that there may be some workaround solutions for setup issues on some printers for ARM64 based computer.  My older Samsung M2830DW does not seem to respond to the one for Samsung SL-2835DW that is posted in the conversations.

  Is a "fix" on the horizon or am I going to be force to give away the printer to someone without an ARM64 chipset?

Have you tried the HP Smart UPD driver yet? I see that many users have had issues with it, but that is likely to be the only solution that HP will offer that might work. Most Samsung products have reached EOL status with HP and no further development is likely.

 

I would wait for the next release of Smart UPD, as the bugs that seem to plague the ARM version of the driver might be resolved. Current is 4.07 so any revision with a higher number than that might be a solution.
