Hi@kstrid, @tsabus,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Printer does not wake up from sleeping mode when printing. I apologize for the Inconvenience.
I have a few recommendations
- You can always try as first step unplugging the power cord from the printer (while the printer is on), while the printer is unplugged press down and hold the power/wake up button during 10 seconds, then release it, plugged the device back in and turn it on..
- Check and update the firmware to the latest.
- When your HP printer won't wake up or keeps going to sleep, the sleep mode function is experiencing an issue. To correct this, you can update the driver software, modify the sleep mode settings, or reset the printer.
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer Preferences. Look for an option to disable sleep or time-out mode.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
