Hi.  I have a printer showing two toner-low signals, but as the machine has been idle for some months, to make sure that I'm not wasting money on cartridges, I would like to run a test print before replacing them, to check if the rest of the machine is working.  Is there any way that I can do that ?

Thanks

Shane

Does it not print at all from a computer? The service manual is somewhat confusing, it appears that you press and hold the cancel button for 2 seconds to generate a demo page.

No wireless on this one.

From Linus:  No response from printer on either "print test page" (there was a problem printing test page) or "print self test page" (PC sends then goes back to idle with no error shown).    I will try with a Windows machine.  According to the manual, holding the "Alert/Cancel" button down for a few seconds should put it into one of two mode, one of which is a test page.  Nothing happens when I try that.
