Hi,

How do I remove the control panel to change the backup battery that keeps the date and time?

The screws on the bottom are holding the control panel attached to the scanner.  Not sure will you be able to access the screws while the scanner is attached, you might need to remove the complete scanner first.

Once screws are removed the plastic hooks hold the front side of the control panel to a scanner.

Thanks! I got the three screws out but then nothing moved much. Didn’t want break anything so I left it for now. Which way I should move the control panel to get it out?

Thanks again. Got it out this time but to my surprise there was no battery. The manual says that date&time will be held as long as the power cord us connected. Something must be broken or the battery is somewhere else. Any ideas?

If not on the control panel then the battery is on the ADF board
