HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. On my old computer (Win 10), I was able to connect my phone (Samsung Galaxy SM-A500F runnning Android 6.0.1) via usb cord. The phone contents then appeared as an additional drive on the computer's File Explorer. This made it easy to move several photos simultaneously.

On my new HP PC running Win11, the phone does not appear on File Explorer altough the computer does recognise the phone as I am able to tether the phone to the computer.

Any help would be appreciated.

My best suggestion is that you look into an HP product called quick drop which links your PC and phone together and allows you to transfer photos from your Android to your desktop from anywhere.  I use it all of the time for quickly getting a photo into my PC so I can add pictures to replies I post here.
