Hi, I am trying to connect my printer (Xpress C480FW) to a wifi network that happens to have an exclamation mark in the password.

The key pad on the printer has no exclamation mark facility, not on the hidden symbol keys (1 and 0) nor on the * key, regardless of how often I press it.

The router has no WPS.

Could someone please provide a link to the 'easy wireless setup' software, as the only link that I can find on this platform downloads a corrupt file and I cannot find another.

I'm running MS Monterey 12.1 on a Macbook Air.

Thanks in anticipation of an avalanche of help. I'm rapidly losing the will to live here!

OK, I deleted the drivers and re-installed the latest drivers that allowed me to input the password using my Mac using a wired connection to the printer.

Thanks to all who took the time to read my question and apologies to anyone who wasted their time looking for a solution for me.
