Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Samsung C48 printer.  I need to add my wifi password. The keypad does not include an exclamation mark which I need for my password.  How can I complete my internet connection?  Thank you.

@Nancy1311, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your Samsung C48 printer to a Wi-Fi network that includes an exclamation mark (!) in the password, you’re right that the printer’s onboard keypad may not support entering certain special characters directly.

You can configure the Wi-Fi settings, including complex passwords, using your Windows 11 PC and a USB cable. Here’s how:

Step-by-Step Instructions

Download the Setup Software:

  • Download the Samsung Easy Wireless Setup tool from HP

Connect the Printer via USB:

  • Plug your Samsung C48 printer into your PC using a USB cable.

Run the Setup Tool:

  • Launch the downloaded software.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to detect your printer.

Configure Wireless Settings:

  • When prompted, select your Wi-Fi network.
  • Enter your full Wi-Fi password, including the exclamation mark (!).
  • Complete the setup and disconnect the USB cable once done.

Test the Connection:

  • Print a network configuration report from the printer to confirm it’s connected to Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
