I am looking for the firmware, not a printer driver.  There is no firmware listed at all.

If you look in other threads on here, people are also asking for firmwares for other Samsung printers with other useful posters being able to help out with other locations or on a FTP site maintained by HP.

I'm with @dogwelder here - HP (nee Samsung printer division) have made it nearly impossible to find *firmware* updates for their printers.

@REO51ST - we're not talking drivers for installation on macOS, Windows, Linux etc, we're specifically referring to printer firmware to be installed on the printer itself.

To be very clear, @REO51ST, your assertion is wrong. There are defintely firmware updates to what seems like EVERY printer, yet no firmware updates are NOT listed at all on any printer page like the one you linked to.

HP/Samsung have not collected all of the useful software, driver and firmware downloads in the same place. This is bad. This gives people the (wrong) impression that there is no new firmware. To be clear - there absolutely is new firmware for most printers. For my printer, an M2825DW, the page https://support.hp.com/my-en/product/samsung-xpress-sl-m2825-laser-printer-series/16462875/drivers shows no firmware.

Please note that there are some oddities - specifically, in my case, I am seeking an updated firmware for an SL-M2825, which is listed, but the firmware download for that printer is named "M2875FW_etc__etc.zip".  It seems that perhaps multiple models had their firmware rolled together?

Unfortunately I can't see a M2835 firmware, perhaps because the link above is to an HP Australia page, and maybe the M2835 was not sold in AU.
