Hello 🙂
I recently got my hands on a samsung M2026. At first glance it looks all right, but from the moment i plug it in it starts to heat up, letting out some plastic smell. I couldnt find any errors based on LED lights, nor in the easy print program but the melting palstic smell has me worried a bit. Based on what i can tell it hasnt been used for a good while, and it seems that the heating stops after a while in sleep mode. Is this completly normal? i never owned a model like this, nor anything similar and i could find very little on the internet about similar issues.
Thanks for the help in advance 🙂

Some printers do smell when heated. If unused for a long time I would check to make sure there are no rodents or other pests in the printer. There are several safety cutoffs on laser printers so it is rare that they would get hot enough to cause a problem.
