Hello
Just purchased my first replacement toner. The printer is printing without any issues but I am informed by the API that the toner is empty. The toner is a genuine MLT r116/see I bought sealed.
Inside the Samsung Easy Printer Manager is says that the toner ID is MLT-D116L/S and it is empty.
How can I make the printer recognize the correct Toner level in order to know when I should buy a new one on time?

EDIT:I have already tried to remove and shake the toner and th eproblem persists

You can also try this:
Take out the toners, clean the contacts up with a dry cloth.
Make a Hard reset (unplugg the power cord from the back of your printer while it is ON, press and hold the power/wakeup button during 15 seconds), when you release the button, plug it back in and turn it ON.

Well if the toner was purchased within a year ago and it is a genuine Samsung toner, you contact the main support department at 1-855-709-2202 since the toners have their own year warranty and as long as the toner level is above of 30%.
