Samsung Express C1810W
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi all, my Samsung Express C1810W was working perfectly then about a week ago it stopped printing  blue and green. Other colors print ok.

Checking printer status indicates that all colors are at somewhere between 50 and 60%.

None of the "needs toner" indicators on the printer's LCD panel are "lit up". When the toner is low, an indicator comes on corresponding to the low color (black, yellow cyan, etc).

I am not sure where to begin to trouble shoot this problem. Any orientation is welcomed. Thanks! D.

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

I think you are having a problem with the cyan cartridge. The colours needed to print green is yellow and blue.maybe remove the cyan cartridge and give it a shake and retry.Hope this will help.

First, thank you for your assistance. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, I had other issues that needed my attention.

I followed your indications:

Removed the cyan cartridge

Shook the cartridge

Reinserted cartridge

Printed test sheet

Unfortunately, the problem persists. Here is a scan of what the output looks like.

I hope this helps

I'm just waiting for your picture to be released for viewing by the moderators.but maybe in the mean time you could check on the following. If shaking the cartridge did not make any difference then it might be that the cyan motor is not turning or engaging onto the toner. On the cyan toner you could maybe make a mark on the drive couplings with a marking pen and try a print and see if the gears did turn.Or change the cyan and magenta toner with each other and then print.Should the problem then be the on magenta the unit is not getting to turn.Hope this will help.

Hi all, sorry for disappearing. Now that Other Activities have been taken care of, I want to follow up on this mkatter. The cyan toner is still not printing. IAs suggested, I placed marks on the cartridge, but these do not seem to move at all.

I tried swapping cartrides to determine whether it was the cartridge, but the printer detects thi and refuses to print until each cartridge is in its corresponding slot.

What else can I try? Searching Google does not yield any results. Can I be the only one with this problem? Thank you!
