My Samsung ML-3312-ND printer will no longer allow printing from Tray 1, only from the multi-purpose tray. It was working fine until I tried to print an excel document, but now no matter what ocument I try to print I get get an error message: out of paper for MP tray (though tray 1 is full). This occurs even though, when printing, I specify tray 1 rather than auto-select paper feed on my Mac (wireless). Any suggestions?

I will try and help but haven't had this model before.Open the front door to reach the manual feed tray.Insert paper and try to finish the print job.If this does not work you will have to delete the print job from the printing queue and maybe restart the print spooler on computer.Restart the printer and computer should resolve the problem.Hope this helps.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.

Thanks very much, Copier-Pro. I simply opened the door to the manual feed, and while it was open but before I had inserted paper, the printer printed as it should. To obviate having to open the manual-feed door, I sought to restart the printer spool from my Mac, as you suggested, but couldn't find any Samsung-printer application to restart, which mystifies me. Thanks again.
