Hi,
I Have a Samsung CLP-415/SEE Laser Printer, A couple of weeks ago the indicater light on the printer turned red, and the screen was saying that i need to replace the Fuser unit.
I Have now done this, and i replaced it with an original samsung fuser unit. I thought that once i had done this the printer would know that a new unit has been installed and turn the waring off automatically. In a simlar way as it knows when you replace the waste toner cartridge.
The problem i have is that the printer is still telling me to replace the fuser, and the light is still red.
Does anyone know how to reset this please.
Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.Just for information some technical information is protected by HP and is not allowed to be answered. This is unfortunate and you will have to contact a HP repair shop for the help in this case. This procedure is a bit tricky. You need to do this quite quick in sequence.Just keep trying.Like I say it like quick operation on the buttons.Hope this helps.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.

Thanks for the response, when you say "try menu #1934 menu" i guess you mean on a key pad ? But this printer does not have one.
I have the service manual, and it looks like i may need to reset the print counts, or some other option, which requires a different menu mode Mode.
The manual says to do this you need to do the following with the selection dial : -
• Press “Menu > Back > Left > Right > OK > Stop” on the control panel continuously.
But for some reason this does not do anything.

Thank you for your help, i managed to work this out last night, that you have to do it very quickly.
So quick in fact that you can't see your hand move, without a time lapse camera.
All sorted now. Thanks again.
