Fair enough!

Hi

I am stuck trying to get into the System Restore menu, when I turn the printer on it says "Loading". The document you sent says to disconnect the hdd cable and remove the side panel and press a button. I found the button but where is the side panel and hdd cable? The image seems to suggest the whole right hand side panel comes off, is this what I need to do?

I just had a look at the service manual and the specs state that there is no harddrive, but a previous post of mine would contradict that.

Page 258 suggests there can be a HDD error. Currently we’re into the top of the printer and are trying to locate it. image.jpg

Do we detach the scanner to get to it? Could do with some further info to get into it.

I have never actually seen or worked on this model. Your best bet would be to find a service manual online as that will have disassembly instructions.
