Have recently updated my chromebook as the previous one, although in excellent order was no longer supported!!!!
Tried to print to my Samsung m2020w printer, which was purchased specifically to work with chromebook and worked fine last year, only to find "cloudprint has been ditched" I can not reinstall the printer as the printer appears to be no longer supported. I can see it and connect to it but it wont print.
I hope that HP will resolve this 🙂 It would appear the printer needs a "ppd" driver. I have tried installing as Samsung-ML-2150 which the system recognises BUT though the printer wakes up it does not print.
Is there a better "generic" driver? OR another way to print? I have tried Mobility print but this is intended for corporate networks and I am a home user.
