Product: Samsung X4300
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra
Samsung X4300 lost Admin password.
Just acquired this printer, but do not have the admin password. The login id is admin.
Have tried the common sec00000, 12345678, 00000,00000000
Are there any others to try, or is there a way to get back to factory default?
Thnx

That X4300 does not have a "standard" password, it is generated on setup by the user. Go into service mode and perform a main memory clear. That will clear the password and allow you to set a new one.
Enter Service mode by depressing the power switch on the right side of the tablet until the shut down message comes up. Press the upper portion of the message box until the service mode password box appears. Enter 1934 and then OK.
In service mode, select Service Functions. Main Memory Clear should be highlighted. Select your country, then press OK in the bottom right corner. All settings except networking will be cleared, the machine will power-cycle, and the setup screen will be displayed (networking will be configured in setup).
Follow the prompts and you should be set.
