Hello,
I have a Samsung Xpress C43x Series (SL-C430W) printer.
My operating system is macOS Monterey 12.x.
The problems are:
When I connect the printer via USB, macOS shows the error: "The software for the printer was installed incorrectly. Please reinstall the software from the manufacturer."
I installed Gutenprint 5.3.4 drivers, but the printer still does not print.
When I try to connect via Wi-Fi (AirPrint), the printer is not discovered after I changed my router/Internet. WPS does not work, and the printer does not print a proper Network Configuration Report, only a Supplies Report.
I need your help with:
Providing a compatible driver or software for macOS Monterey (or confirming that only AirPrint is supported).
A clear step-by-step guide for connecting the Samsung C43x to a new Wi-Fi network if WPS does not work (for example, via USB setup).
Please advise how I can restore normal printing functionality.
