Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I 've owned a Samsung M2070FW since 2015. I 've already replaced its toner a couple of times. Last week the advise "Replace new cartridge" appeared - actually was in my own language, and I remember it was a little different like "toner ended" - . By the way I removed the cartridge and put in another original - MLT-D111S - . The advise still persists.
I switched off removing the cable as well and switched on again. Nothing changed
I removed the cartridge and shook it gently to spread omogenously the powder inside it. put it again ... same result.
I tried to flash the firmware and after starting the utility in a dos shell no message was provided so I don't understand if the operation went well.

By the way I'm still stuck.

In case this is a hardware fault I'd want to know if there is a specific sensor which might be faulty or if it depends on the whole main board.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Re: Samsung Xpress SL-M2070FW "Replace new cartridge" advise still appears after replacing

the printer reports the status of the toner cartridge chip to 0% - you can replace it with a new ink cartridge or toner chip, after using printing for a certain time % count back to 0%
To save costs, you can permanently reset the ink alarm (chip lock) without using the cartridge chip anymore.
Thanks!

Sorry I appreciate the effort but this is not an answer to my question: I'd want to know WHAT is the problem and I 'm not searching for a work around but for a clean solution. What's the component that doesn't work? what's the firmware issue? you said "you can replace it with a new ink cartridge or toner chip": as I wrote I already replaced the cartridge with an original one. So why should I do a chip replacement or hackering the chip recognition?
