Hi @Roginindy, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It looks like your Samsung C1810W printer is encountering an internal software error when printing from your desktop. Since it prints from its internal menu, the issue is likely software-related rather than a hardware fault. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and fix the problem:
Restart Printer & PC
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in and restart your computer.
Check Printer Connection
- If using USB, try a different cable or port.
- If using Wi-Fi, restart your router and ensure the printer is connected to the correct network.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Download and install the latest drivers for your Samsung C1810W from the HP support website (Samsung printers are now supported by HP).
- Uninstall the current drivers via Control Panel → Devices and Printers, then reinstall the new drivers.
Try a Different Print Method
- Test printing a document from Notepad instead of your usual software.
- Try printing a PDF file using a different PDF viewer (like Adobe Acrobat instead of Microsoft Edge).
Check Windows Print Spooler
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Restart.
- If this doesn’t help, clear the print queue:
- Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files inside.
Factory Reset the Printer
- Access the printer's menu: Menu → System Setup → Clear Settings.
- Select Reset All Settings (note: this will reset Wi-Fi and preferences).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
