Hi @erichoch,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Check Connections:

  • Confirm that the SSDs are properly connected to the USB ports on your computer. Try using different USB ports and cables to ensure there is no issue with the connection.

Verify USB Port Functionality:

  • Test the USB ports with other devices to make sure they are functioning properly.

Check Device Manager:

  • On your computer, open Device Manager and look to see if the SSDs are listed. They may appear under "Disk drives" or as "Unknown Devices."
  • If the SSD appears with a warning symbol, try updating or reinstalling the drivers.

Use Different Computers:

  • Connect the SSDs to different computers to verify if the issue is specific to one machine or if the problem persists across multiple devices.

Scan for Errors:

  • Use disk management tools or third-party software to scan the SSDs for errors. Windows users can use the CHKDSK command:1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. 2. Type `chkdsk [drive letter]: /f /r` and press Enter.

Firmware Updates:

  • Check HP’s website for any firmware updates for your specific SSD model. An update might resolve issues related to recognition and functionality.

I hope this helps.
