Product: Samsung printer c1860fw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my Samsung printer do not communicate. The status display board only shows the sign Samsung. The display board empty otherwise. No copy, scan or any thing like that. The only button that respond when pressing is the POWER/Wake Up button, nothing else. Looks like all the software program in it is lost. How do we reenergise this dead machine.

It looks like the formatter is bad needed to be replaced.

Or you can try to bake it first.

Our HP M1522n Printer just quit working after 2 years. While troubleshooting the error I ran across an odd fix for the printer.. Bake the motherboard in the oven for 8 min at 350 Degrees.. Gurss what.. It actually worked!! The Thread can be found here ...

What is formatted and how do I get it? Is it a hardware or software that I can purchase? I have no idea! Would you please explain a little more on this. Thanks a lot.

Formatter is the one which USB & Lan port on it which you connect to your pc or router.

You can bake it first or maybe buy from eBay.

But what you really need to do maybe is call someone pro fix it for you.

Which means of bake is really bake it in a oven to heat the formatter to try to save it back.

Don't be doubt and google it you will find lots of them.
