Welcome to the HP Community --

 

This printer does not include the automatic 2-sided scanning feature.

 

NOTE >> Automatic 2-sided scan is included in the HP OfficeJet Pro 9000 series (not the 8000).

 

Load Stack of paper > scan > flip > scan 

Depending on app / software used, r

Reorder manually or let software reorder contents

2-sided scans are Not available for your printer model. You have to manually scan the first side of each sheet, then flip it over to scan the second side.
