Hi, I have installed the 2820 today through Wi-Fi and tried to print but the print took 15 minutes for a single page not sure why it is so slow. Also I could not copy, it seems the copy function is not working

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

 

  • Check Connectivity: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network and that the signal strength is good. A weak connection can cause delays in printing.
  • Printer Driver: Make sure you have installed the latest printer driver. Sometimes outdated or corrupted drivers can cause slow printing or functionality issues.
  • Printer Settings: Check the printer settings to ensure that the print quality settings are appropriate. High-quality settings can slow down printing significantly.
  • Network Issues: If other devices on your network are also experiencing slow speeds, there might be an issue with your Wi-Fi network. Try restarting your router and check if the speed improves.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve performance issues. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Paper Jam or Obstructions: Check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer that may be causing issues with the copy function.
  • Printer Reset: Try resetting your printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
