In 2016 somone ask the question how to SCAN more then one page ...and the answer Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums.After reading your post I see that you need information on COPYING multiple copies at a time.will certainly do my best to help you and the person was an HP employee meaning in 2016 they could not read and the question was never answered. 

 

I am asking again, how can I scan multiple pages and not one at a time from the flatbed....maybe some one can give me the answer in 2018....thank you

Thank you for writing to us though the last user didn't get the answer,

Let's get straight into this.

 

If you have the HP Officejet 3830, same as the last user, here's all you need to know: Click here

If the issue persists, check out the below steps:

  • Double click printer icon on desktop,
  • Select Scan a Document or Photo,
  • Put the first page on the glass (face down),
  • Check options (size, dpi ...), and select Scan document to file,
  • Click Scan - machine will scan the first page
  • Remove the first page on the glass, put the second page,
  • Click + (plus sign) It sits on the left hand side of a red x
  • Machine will scan the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click + again ..... to the end then click Save
  • Click Done after Save

Or try HP Scan Extended using the following software

Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10:

(a) Hit Win key,
(b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
(c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"
