Hello. I recently purchased the 8028e Office Jet pro all in one series printer. I previously owned the 8022e printer, which had a convenient option to scan directly to email from the unit control panel. 

 

My 8028e only shows a scan to computer option on the control panel. Am I not able to scan directly to email???

I don't find the option you describe listed in the specifications, the quick-specs, or the user manual for this printer.

 

On the Printer - Digital Send Features

You (likely) know you can Scan > Share (Email) using HP Smart.

 

Remember to configure / add your Email address to the Mail app -- or, if migrated -- to the Outlook application.
