C4180 All in one Printer (& Scanner)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I found a couple of years ago in the trash a C4180 All-In-One Printer but without the AC Power Adaptar.

It needs a grey colored, but i only have a green one.
I have the fear to burn the internal components if I try to force plug the green one I have.
Want to know, what you think about it.

GREY

+32V | .... | +16V

GREE

32 | .... 15V

I dont understand much, but looks like the green one send less power.
I just need it for the scanner.

The green one has less power as you noticed, the scanner on the printer will probably work, but the power adapter will be hot.

If you take a better look on the drawing on the connectors you posted you can notice that grey connector has a nib on top on the +16V pin, but the grey has the same nib on the left +32V pin that is so you can't plug the green power adapter in grey connection in the printer and vice versa.

It worked, I removed the nib in the connector and even though there is an error whit the cartridges.
The scanner works perfectly and the card readers too.

Thanks @Valsimot 😁
